解散至今超過四分之一個世紀，但是每一天，ABBA/阿巴合唱團都有新的歌迷。有些人從天后瑪丹娜新曲取樣認識阿巴，有些人透過阿巴音樂劇「Mamma Mia!/媽媽咪呀！」；在歐洲、年輕偶像A*Teens/阿巴少年組以唱阿巴的歌登上排行冠軍，更有無數仿阿巴團體，在世界各地舉辦演唱會，2006年瑞典宣布成立「阿巴博物館」。ABBA、從1982年解散至今，一年比一年還要走紅。
解散之後，每年仍平均銷售200萬張專輯，至今累積3億7000萬張，ABBA不愧是瑞典百年來最大出口商品，跟貓王以及披頭四並列為世界3大奇蹟。從1974年歐洲歌唱大賽中贏得第一名開始，二男二女的組合，在世人面前戀愛、結婚、又離婚，阿巴本身的戲劇性跟他們的音樂，一樣令世人津津樂道。除了有讓媒體追不完的八卦，阿巴的造型鮮豔亮麗、誇張性感，至今仍是一絕。也因此，阿巴所代表的不只是音樂而已，多重的流行元素，讓他們穿越時空，跨越世代，重新復活在「妙麗的春宵」、「沙漠妖姬」、「麻辣女王」、「凸槌特派員」、「辛普森家庭」等熱門電影與卡通；日韓兩地，也有日劇「蛋糕上的草莓」、韓劇「冬季戀歌」以阿巴歌曲成為故事主軸。99年，阿巴兩位靈魂人物，也把阿巴暢銷曲編寫成音樂劇「Mamma Mia!」，這時候阿巴團員才發現，原來自己所創作的歌曲，一首就是一部完整的電影、電視劇、甚至是音樂劇；2008年，「Mamma Mia!」更被翻拍成電影，請到梅莉史翠普、皮爾斯布洛斯南等巨星演出，電影與原聲帶也都在全球創下驚人的銷售紀錄。總之，流行樂壇巨星很多，但是歌曲可以走紅40年，甚至更久，只有ABBA。(以上資料來自博客來音樂館)
