來自德國的"Modern Talking"成軍於1983年，在1987年第一次解散，到1998年復出，2003年再度解散。主唱Thmas Anders以出眾的外型與夢幻迷人的嗓音，加上Dieter Bohlen旋律性極佳的作曲能力，兩人一同打造的舞曲金曲不計其數，80年代在MV的推波助瀾之下，"Modern Talking"風靡寶島，一時無兩，成為歐陸舞曲的天王團體(以上資料來自博客來音樂館)。該團歌曲雖與美國流行榜無緣，但在歐洲各國卻是排行榜常勝軍，甚至紅到南美、澳洲及亞洲，意外的是該團在中東地區的回教國家，包括民風保守的伊朗也頗受歡迎。本文主打歌" Brother Louie"，出自該團1986年第三張專輯" Ready for Romance"，為德國及瑞典的冠軍曲；在1998年復出後將該歌重新灌錄於第七張專輯" Back for Good"，並加上饒舌等流行因子，即使相隔12年仍一舉拿下法國亞軍(德國＃16)，可見好歌不寂寞。推薦曲"Cheri, Cheri Lady"則出自該團1985年第二張專輯" Let's Talk About Love"，為德國、瑞士、挪威及澳洲等四國冠軍曲，在比利時、荷蘭、瑞典及義大利等國也都進入Top10，不愧是歐陸舞曲天團。
