故事始於底特律，1959年，Diana Ross領軍Primettes樂團於1961年加入Motown摩城唱片唱片公司，並把團名改為The Supremes至上女子三重唱。粉紅色舌頭和假睫毛是這個超級女生團體的特徵！The Supremes是暢銷單曲製造機，打響了Motown廠牌孕育黑人音樂的金字招牌，已被光榮列入Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame搖滾名人殿堂，百老匯知名音樂劇正是依照她們的傳奇故事而改編。
　　1970年，Diana Ross單飛展開個人獨唱事業，在接下來的30年繼續創造出大量無止盡的排行榜單曲和巡迴演唱會，證明了自己是一位不怕面對新挑戰和新趨勢的高成就女性。除了歌唱事業，她的影視成就也是無可計數。第一部電影演出就獲奧斯卡獎提名，主演藍調歌后Billie Holiday比莉哈樂黛的傳記影片；接著領銜主演和(Michael Jackson亦參與此片演出)。
