2000年抒情代表作“I Hope You Dance”，受到Billboard雜誌高度推崇、權威音樂網站AMG四星高評，透過Lee Ann Womack的詮釋，不僅蟬連鄉村單曲榜六週冠軍、成人抒情榜十一週冠軍，更橫掃各大音樂獎項，抱回葛萊美獎「年度最佳鄉村歌曲」、全美鄉村音樂獎「年度最佳單曲」、「年度女歌手」，以及美國鄉村音樂協會獎「年度最佳單曲唱片」、「年度最佳歌曲」和「年度歌唱演出」等獎座肯定，同名專輯『I Hope You Dance』亦光榮入選娛樂週刊、今日美國報...等全美各大傳媒「年度最佳鄉村專輯」，全美銷售勇破三百萬張，將Lee Ann Womack的音樂事業推向最高峰。(以上資料來自博客來音樂館)至於推薦曲"The Fool"(1997年鄉村榜亞軍)則是版主認為Lee Ann所有歌曲中最感人的一條歌，即使知名度不如“I Hope You Dance”，但整首歌自比傻瓜充滿著辛酸無奈，讓聽眾雖無相同經歷亦能同感其悲。
