Vanessa Williams 1963年生，美國歌手、作曲家、演員。曾當選1983年美國首位有非裔血統的美國小姐(後因裸照風波失去后冠)，本文介紹的"Colors Of The Wind"是迪士尼動畫電影"風中奇緣"的主題曲，曾獲1995年奧斯卡及金球獎最佳電影主題曲獎。推薦曲"Save the best for last"則曾勇奪1992年美國流行榜冠軍。
