Gerard Joling 生於1960年，是荷蘭籍的一位歌手和電視節目主持人，崛起於80年代中期，本篇介紹的"Ticket to the Tropics"為其最出名的經典作品，收錄在1985年"Love is in your Eyes"專輯裡，曾獲1986年歐美等多國排行榜冠軍。推薦曲則是該專輯同名單曲，也是相當耐聽的抒情好歌。(以上資料參考維基百科)
